This blog is dedicated to informing the people of America about the importance of imposing term limits on the members of Congress. The constant re-election of members of congress has created the term, with acceptance, "professional politicians". Members of Congress are elected servants of those they represent. They are trusted to represent their states and districts and to do their duty to the best of their ability.
Term limits would weed out those who want to make an easy living off the people of America because they would have a limited amount of time. Their would be a new wave of thinking in Congress due to the new blood. Voters would be more willing to vote out bad legislators because their time in Congress would be meaningless, as term limits would destroy seniority power in Congress.
Special interest groups and lobbyists would have to become more honorable in what they do because they would less likely to rely on members of Congress to protect what they do when they misuse their money.
Term Limits apply to members of Electoral branch of government, imposed by legislators to limit elective members' power, so why shouldn't it extend to the legislature?
